The town of Redstone is surrounded by the White River National Forest with an abundance of summer and winter outdoor activities. Redstone is a destination location for nature and history lovers alike. In addition, the town of Redstone is located on the West Elk Scenic Byway, and is one of Colorado 's most picturesque towns. Enjoy Redstone's Magical Moments Summer Concert Series in the park on Saturday nights during the summer. The fly-fishing in the Crystal River offers fly-fishermen Colorado's best kept secret. Don't forget your rod and fly; fishing permits are available in town.
